Reuben loves bath time! In fact, I think he just likes being naked but he especially enjoys his bath at the end of the day. He can be crying and grizzly but as soon as we get him ready for his bath, he's all smiles. I thought I'd put a few pics on of his baths - basically, it's just an excuse to post more pictures of him because I think he is so gorgeous! :) Enjoy.

Louise's Graduation/ Meet Uncle Sean
On Thursday March 20, my sister-in-law Louise graduated with her nursing degree. She is now our resident RN so I will be calling her with all my medical questions (hope you don't mind, Louise.)Congratulations on a job well done!
My brother-in-law Sean (who is in medical school himself) came over for the ceremony and stayed with us for a couple of nights during his visit during which time he got to meet Reuben. I swear, Sean, Reuben does have happy days!!!! (Baby was a little grizzly during Uncle Sean's visit which left Uncle Sean a little skeptical as to whether he really is as bubbly a baby as we say he is!)
Here are a few photos from the graduation and Reuben and Sean together. It was great to see you again, Sean. Next time you'll have to bring Fiona!!

My first blog entry

OOOOH - how exciting! My first blog post! I have been toying with the idea of setting up a blog for awhile now and have finally 'taken the plunge.' This way, I can update our overseas friends and family with all the latest details from our life here in New Zealand, especially now that we have our gorgeous new addition - Reuben.
Reuben is two months old now - my, does time fly - and just this morning I was able to pull him into a sitting position and he held his head steady on his own! He is getting very chatty and has discovered 'goo' and 'ga' sounds, along with various other noises that I can't quite distunguish. He giggles and is sleeping a solid 9-10 hours at night now. What a good boy!
For the benefit of those who may not be on my Facebook or Myspace friends' list, I will add some photos from Reuben's early days up to the present. I would've liked to see the photos aranged in a more structured order but until I figure this whole thing out, they may be a bit haphazard. The top two photos are the most recent, the 'dimple' one was taken the day he turned a month old, and the photo with the three of us is the day after he was born - our first family photo.
